NERF – Stampede ECS

Airsoft is illegal here in Australia so what’s the next best thing if you are into pistols and rifles – BUY A NERF!  You don’t need a license, you don’t have hassle of going to the gun club every week to satisfy the “powers that be”.  If you want it to be more realistic – paint it!  Be creative with it to make it more real…

Nerf Recon CS-6 Mods…

I’ve had my Recon CS-6 for a week now and I’ve been looking around youtube for modifications to the Recon CS-6.  What you can watch in youtube is totally insane!  This people are so creative.  Can’t wait to mod my Recon when I have time.

My New Nerf N-Strike Recon CS-6

I’ve been itching to buy a Nerf rifle for awhile now.  I thought I was the only one interested in this toys but to my surprise even my cousin in laws boyfriend bought one and customised it aswell.  Apparently there is a whole community and following for this Nerf toys.  There are people out there that actually customises, improves, and beautify this awesome toys.

I chose the Nerf N-Strike Recon CS-6 model because it’s small, compact and there is this “special forces” feel to it.  I wanted the N-Strike LongShot model too, but I think that model is not available here in Australia.  If that becomes available here I will buy that aswell.  Anyways back to the Recon CS-6 – you can fully configure the rifle for “different missions” according to the box.  It can be converted to a pistol, submachine gun and a rifle.  It comes with a faux laser sight/night illumination torch.  It has tactical rails built in so that you can mount different Nerf accessories.

During the Christmas break I will try to customise the look of my Recon CS-6.  The plan is to get it painted matt black to make it more realistic.
